The Flagship Enterprise Center (FEC) strives to make a difference in the Anderson community by fostering an environment where entrepreneurial business leaders can establish and encourage businesses development in the area. Their aim is to use their facilities to help renew the market of the Anderson area and foster economic growth. The FEC not only desires to contribute to economic growth but also seeks to nurture businesses through mentorship, networking, education, funding, and more.

The Flagship Technology Park is a business incubator that has options for each step of your business’ growth. The Accelerator 1 and Accelerator 2 facilities are available for companies who need office space, warehouse space, manufacturing, and prototyping. In 2009, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development funded the Engineering and Lab Annex at the Flagship Enterprise Center. The Engineering and Lab Annex features office space, a conference room, and all the required amenities necessary for an engineering laboratory.

The Flagship Technology Park also features a microloan program, which was established in 2010. This program assists local businesses, helping them succeed in the Anderson area. Over the years, the program has served 29 Indiana counties, granting over 400 loans totaling more than $11 million in capital.

The Flagship Enterprise Center business incubator has made great contributions to business development not only in the Anderson area but also in many surrounding counties. One local business FEC has supported is the Corporation for Economic Development (CED). The CED is an initiative to help improve business development in the Anderson area by encouraging businesses to build in Anderson and helping them secure local land, buildings, and capital needed for operation.
